Founding Assembly of the Association of scientists Međimurje

On Saturday, 23 January 2010. , in the premises of the polytechnic Medimurje Cakovec held its founding assembly of the Association of scientists Međimurja (DZM).


The initiative for the establishment of the association launched a Prefect of Međimurje Ivan Perhoč, who along with his deputies attended, as assessed by many, a historic event for the Međimurje. DZM goal is to, among other things, pick-up and modernization of educational, cultural and economic structure of Međimurje, and the promotion of scientific thought and technology Međimurje County. According to the Statute adopted by the Assembly, member of DZM can become every citizen who has earned the title of doctor or master of science, who was born, works, lives or has originated from Međimurje. After working part scientists continue their pals for lunch at the hotel "Kralj"in Donji Kraljevec, where they were hosted by Mr Đuro Horvat, director and owner of Tehnix Ltd. It was a chance that in informal conversation form the first steps of cooperation in the merger of science and industry.
